02:00 PM Announcement Info : CONTRACTOR shall review all documents, specifications, plans and scope of work provided by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department for work to be completed to: Furnish all labor, equipment and materials required for the removal of 12-inches of existing soil in applicable areas as specified by the plans within the engineering control boundary; demolition of a ball field; installation of a minimum of 12-inches of clean fill and geotextile material over arsenic impacted soils at the Colonial Drive Park; construction improvement of a ball field; irrigation system installation; drainage system improvements; repair various portions of existing asphalt walkway and install new asphalt walkway. With work further identified in the contract documents.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
All workers must have current OSHA Hazardous Waste

Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) 40-hour training at the time as when the work will be performed. Bidders must have relevant professional experience with projects similar in size and scope and shall provide evidence of this experience; project names; dollar values; and contact information for verification purposes. This information should be entered on the Bidders’ Statement of Qualifications and Business Reference Form, using additional pages as needed.

In accordance with Miami-Dade County Implementing Order 3-9, Accounts Receivable Adjustments, if money is owed by the Contractor to the County, whether under this Contract or for any other purpose, the County reserves the right to retain such amount from payment due by County to the Contractor under this Contract. Such retained amount shall be applied to the amount owed by the Contractor to the County. The Contractor shall have no further claim to such retained amounts which shall be deemed full accord and satisfaction of the amount due by the County to the Contractor for the applicable payment due herein.
