Page 2 of 2 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine small business sources capable of the inspection, servicing, and maintaining for Nebraska-Western Iowa (NWI) VA Health Care System s medical gas, medical vacuum, and supporting medical gas systems for both the Omaha and Grand Island VAMCs. Services per this notice under NAICS code 541350 Building Inspection Services. Small Business Size Standard is $11.5 million. BACKGROUND: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 10: MARKET RESEARCH. This notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Federal Government to contract for any service at this time. Further, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23 is not
at this time seeking offers and will not accept unsolicited offers. Respondents are advised that the Federal Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the responding party s expense. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Federal Government to form a binding contract. Although the term offeror is used in this notice, your respective organization s response will be treated as information only and shall not be used as an offer. OBJECTIVE: This Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification(s) (Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SD/VOSB), Hub zone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, woman owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 541350. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Please see attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement for full description of this service request. Contractor shall provide inspection, servicing, and maintaining for Nebraska-Western Iowa (NWI) VA Health Care System s medical gas, medical vacuum, and supporting medical gas systems for both the Omaha and Grand Island VAMCs. This contract is intended to provide the VA with a comprehensive IDIQ service list for medical gas system repairs and up-keep. The contractor shall provide individual cost line-item breakouts for the following services of indefinite quantity outlined on the Excel attachment for medical gas system maintenance and upkeep. A comprehensive equipment inventory all of which shall be covered under the purview of this service IDIQ is available for review as well. Complete facility drawings are available upon request as well if needed for cost estimation purposes. PLACES OF PERFORMANCE: Omaha Division Medical Center, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105. Grand Island Division Medical Center, 2201 N Broadwell Ave, Grand Island, NE 68803. POTENTIAL SCOPE OF WORK: See attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement See attached GI VA Inventory See attached OM VA Inventory See NWI VA Report 012424 POTENTIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE: Any contractor personnel performing work on NWI campuses in relation to the medical gas system shall adhere to the requirements outline in NFPA 99 2021 Chapters 5, 11, and 15, NFPA 55 2023, VA Plumbing Design Manual Chapter 8, and VHA Directive 7515(1). Also, the contractor must be able to furnish on-site technicians with the following active/valid certifications capable of performing the required exploratory inspection and evaluation work per ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI Series 6000-2021. a. American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) 6005 Medical Gas Specialist b. American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) 6020 Medical Gas Inspector c. American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) 6030 Medical Gas Verifier d. American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) 6035 Bulk Medical Gas System Verifier e.
