directed to jzaykowski@wilkes-barre.pa.usor (570) 208-4138Services for Proposed Contract:Investment management of the City of Wilkes-Barry Aggregate Pension Fund (the “Fund”)Custody and safekeeping of Fund assetsBenefit payments and 1099-R tax reportingSpecifications Relating to the Services:Firms submitting proposals shall demonstrate knowledge of and experience with the investment management of Pennsylvania municipal pension plans, custody and safekeeping of assets, processing of periodic benefit payments, and other expertise as required in performing the work involved in the RFP.Procedures to Compete for the Contracts:Applicants shall complete proposals in accordance with the RFP available on the City’s website https://www.wilkes-barre.city/bidsand submit proposal to the City of Wilkes-Barre Aggregate Pension Fund Board (the “Board”) by 10:00 AM, April 1, 2024. After verification by the City that the proposals are complete, the Board will evaluate the qualifications and experience of each firm submitting a proposal. One contract will be awarded to the most qualified firm. The successful proposer shall anticipate a Notice of Award within 30 days after the proposals have been reviewed and a Notice of to Proceed shall be issued shortly thereafter.Required Disclosures:All disclosures required under Act 44 of 2009, including, but not limited to, disclosure by each person, including subcontractors, who will be providing services to the Board, of the following:a description of the responsibilities of each person providing services under the contract.whether the individual is now or was a City of Wilkes-Barre official or employee.whether each individual was employed or compensated by a third-party to communicate with a City of Wilkes-Barre official or employee.contributions in the past five years of at least $500 made to City of Wilkes-Barre officials.whether a former City of Wilkes-Barre employee has participated in the submission, review or negotiation of the proposal.gifts to any City of Wilkes-Barre official or employee; the existence of any financial, commercial, or business relationship with a City of Wilkes-Barre official.the retention of any third-party intermediary, agent, or lobbyist and his or her duties; andwhether there has been any communication with the City of Wilkes-Barre following the publication of this ad. The City of Wilkes-Barre encourages minority owned firms, women’s business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms to submit proposals. The proposer must ensure that the employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability.
