LV - Rosewood Column Repair

Project description: Repair the brick veneer column and facade at the southeast corner of the Rosewood Building on the Lakeland Village Campus. Repairs will include but may not be limited to replacing the existing steel column, baseplate, and anchor bolts within the column as well as adding a metal stud support wall and rebuilding portions of the brick veneer on the building façade. Removal, cleaning, and storage of existing brick veneer will be utilized in rebuilding portions of the building façade. Replacement of damage brick along with providing rebuilding the affect column and providing expansion control measures are included within the project. Temporary controls include construction of a temporary exterior egress ramp, ramp protective barriers, removing ramp at project completion, and restoring surrounding area to conditions found at project commencement. Temporary controls will also include required barriers to keep facility staff and patrons isolated from construction activities.
