In an effort to increase the City’s ability to provide water to

our community, the city desires to upgrade an existing well. When this well was originally constructed, Rocky Mountain Power did not have sufficient capacity in this area to provide for optimum well performance. At the time of the original construction of well 5, only 480V 3 phase was available so the well was designed to with a lower horsepower motor. Since that time, however, upgrades have been made to their system to provide 12,470 in that area, which would accommodate 4160 at the well site with a transformer. Attention: Sealed bids for the EMC Well 5 Upgrade RFP will be open until 2:00 p.m. June 29, 2023, at which time the proposals will be reviewed. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will not be considered. Opening of Bids: Bids will be opened on or around the bid closing date. Vendors who submit a bid will be notified of the results via email. The email will include a spreadsheet of all vendors and the amounts of the bids submitted for the project. Please include the name and email address of your contact person in the cover letter so we can send the notification of bid results. Once a vendor is chosen for the awarded contract all vendors will be notified of the vendor who will be awarded the contract. The contract will be awarded upon city council approval. The chosen vendor will submit the remaining required bonds, and other required documentation with a signed contract.
