Solicitation Description: The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is issuing this Solicitation on behalf of DSHS. The purpose of this VSS Call Center Support Services Solicitation and resulting Contract is to support VSS in handling inbound calls about vital statistics services and the status of vital records applications. This function is being outsourced to a professional call center so that VSS employees can be reassigned to core Vital Statistics duties in maintaining and safeguarding the statewide system of registration and issuance of Texas vital records, including fulfillment of customer applications, and will thereby improve productivity and efficiency of VSS operations.
