IFB #3274-24 - CountyAirport 119.91 Acres Farmland Lease

The Commissioners Court of Nueces County (hereinafter called the “County”) will accept sealed competitive bids for IFB No. 3274-24 Farmland for Lease for County Airport in accordance with the Specifications and other Contract Documents prepared by the County. Nueces County wishes to lease 119.91 acres that are located on the Nueces County Airport Lands. The land is to be used for farming, as that term is understood in the farming industry/community; and for no other purpose. The County reserves the right to terminate the lease in its entirety or amend the lease during the term of the lease in order to use any portion of the premises if the County desires to use the land or portion thereof for any reason. If such termination, whether in its entirety or portion thereof, occurs after Bidder/Lessee has prepared the ground by fertilizing or planting of crops, then County shall pay Bidder/Lessee the costs incurred. Bidder/Lessee shall provide sufficient evidence of the reasonable andnecessary costs incurred. The term of the lease is for a three (3) year period, with an option to extend the lease term for two (2) additional one (1) year periods with one hundred-twenty (120) days prior written notice exercising the option to extend. In the event this contract expires before another contract is awarded, the Contractor shall extend the contract on a month-to-month basis by mutual
