The requested equipment is a hyperspectral camera that can detect radiation over LWIR wavelengths with sufficient spectral resolution to identify key absorption features of methane and other hydrocarbons, as well as nitrous oxide and sulfur dioxide at ambient temperatures. The equipment must be ground-based and sufficiently portable to enable measurements in locations not easily accessible by vehicle. The equipment should include any peripheral electronics and software required to conduct the measurement and analyze the data. The budget for the project is capped at $600,000 CAD, plus HST.
