The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate a sole-source Award under the authority of FAR 6.302, to Medtherm Corporation for calibration and replacement of the heat-flex gauges/transducers.  The projected amount for 5 years is not-to-exceed $273,000.  Medtherm is the sole-propietary manufacturer and the only authorized company to repair and calibrate this particular lab equipment.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $20.5 million dollars. The award resulting from this requirement will be pursuant to FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS.
