Short Project Description: Dewatering the lock chamber will be required to perform this work. Dewatering will include install of closure

system and maintaining a dewatered status for the remainder of the project. A replacement poiree dam lower closure (bulkhead slots, needle dam, modified headbay, or sheet pile wall) will need to be designed and installed for dewatering. During the dewatering the contractor will raise miter gates by picking. The contractor will replace and rehab related components, to include contact blocks, anchor arms, pintle balls/bushings, and timber seals. Another component to this is to tension the diagonals and repair any structural cracking that is found.6. Type of Action: Sealed Bid7. Estimated Advertisement Date: 4th Quarter FY248.
