THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO MOD MACHINE, LLC FOR PVS 14 TACTICAL DUAL MOUNT NIGHT VISION GEARThe Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to MOD Machine, LLC, 2836 Janitell Rd, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906 (UEI: GCAMBJG3T1C5, CAGE: 1QCD0).In order to meet the Government’s mission, the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) Pentagon Police Department (PPD), the Requiring Activity, has the mission to continually provide technical security support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) for the protection of classified information, used in daily operations at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC). The PVS 14 Tactical Dual Mount Night Vision Gear is compatible with the Army/Navy Portable Visual Search (AN PVS-14) night vision monocular that Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC) Command

has previously purchased. The Tactical Night Vision Gear provides safe, efficient, and reliable equipment for the Pentagon Police Department (PPD)/RRMC Officers in performance of their mission. The PPD maintains a response force capable of providing security commensurate with designated Force Protection Conditions in all weather and lighting conditions. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 333314, Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing.  Small Business Size Standard of 500 Employees.  This is a commercial item.  The estimated amount for this procurement is under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold with a 30 Days After Award delivery date.This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations.
