This sources sought is not a notice of solicitation. This special notice is issued solely for information and market research purposes. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal, nor a promise to issue a solicitation now or in the future. This notice does not commit the Government contractually for any services or supplies whatsoever.The 104th FW, Air National Guard Contracting Office, seeks information from vendors that can provide meal prep services at Barnes Air National Guard, 175 Falcon Dr, Westfield, MA 01085.Intent is to have vendor prepare, cook, and serve the meals in the Kitchen Facility on base. Followed by clean-up of the kitchen area, clean up includes the serving line and the kitchen area.  Food will be purchased by the 104th FW and prepared on site by the vendors for the specified meal(s). Typically this is for two days, Saturday and Sunday and consists of cooking for lunch only, numbers of meals required ranges from approximately 200 to
500 hot meals.  Lunch is served from 1045 until 1300.The specific purpose of this notice is to determine if there is a small businesses; capable of performing the requested services. Interested vendors that believe they can meet the minimum requirement(s) should submit electronic copies of their capability statement(s) and requested information to the 104th FW Contracting office at 104.FW.MSC@us.af.milResponses should include the minimum following information:(1) Name and UEI or CAGE Code of organization that will provide the requirement.(2) Any Relevant information that is not listed above in-which the Government may need to consider in developing its minimum requirements and finalizing its market research.(3) Any considerations that need to be include in timelines for preparation of the meals, to include prep for the meals, typically accomplished the Friday before weekends.(4) Do you currently have a full time workforce that you would use for these types of events, or would you need to hire for each specific event?  How many of your current employees have training on food preparation and cooking? (5) Personnel would be required to have/be Serve Safe and Food Handling Certified. How many personnel do you currently have that have these certifications, and what capability do you have to have employees complete prior to the event?Any proprietary information should be clearly marked. Only electronic statements will be accepted. All responses to this notice shall be submitted via email by the required Response Date. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information or comments received from potential sources resulting from this Sources Sought. This is not a Request for Information. The Government will not provide a response to questions as a part of this Sources Sought. Responses shall not include classified data. And proprietary information, if any, shall be kept to a minimum and SHALL BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, SEGREGATE proprietary information. Be advised that all submissions will become Government property and will not be returned.
