Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value)The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations requires new custom-sized mattresses for the NOAA ship Fairweather, which is currently undergoing drydock repairs.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(ii) Solicitation number NMAN7911-20-00397 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-03.(iv) This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 337910, Environmental Systems Protection – Environmental Remediation;
the small business size standard is 1000 employees.(v) Line items are as follows:CLIN 1: New custom foam mattresses for the NOAA ship Fairweather including delivery.(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The NOAA ship Fairweather requires a total of 33 mattresses, in accordance with the attached statement of work. All mattresses must be received by the NLT date so the crew can move aboard. Offerors should provide information about their proposed product, as well as a quote on official company letterhead.
