NOTICE OF INTENT to award Sole Source- LexisNexis, division of RELX Inc.THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of Acquisition on behalf of its Office of Security intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price commercial contract/task order to provide immediate and direct access to LexisNexis Online Services proprietary system for subscription service for Personnel and Business Research & Reporting Service (Domestic and International) for each business or personnel verification performed by BEP authorized personnel at the Washington DC Facility. The intended contractor is LexisNexis, division of RELX Inc, 9443 Springboro Pike Miamisburg, OH 45342-4425.The Government intends to award a sole source contract/task order utilizing a Justification for Soliciting from a Single Source IAW FAR Subpart 8.4. The anticipated period of performance for a twelve (12) month base and four (4) twelve (12) month options. The North American

Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 518210 and the size standard is $35.0 million dollars. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a need for immediate and direct access for subscriptions for online service research tool to be available 24 hours a day for 365 days a year. The service provider should provide immediate and direct access to international and domestic principal employee and business information in an effort to detect fraud and criminal activity by enhanced vetting process; identify international and domestic link tips and leads, and coordinate recommendations.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within eight (8) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence of immediate and direct access to information. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation will not be posted. To be considered, responses MUST be received NO LATER THAN 3:00PM, EASTERN STANDARD TIME, 2 February 2023.
