HEINEMAN STREET POTABLE GROUND WATER STORAGE TANK AND PUMP STATION - ITB 22413 City of Daytona Beach Description:1. GENERAL INFORMATION THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH will receive electronic sealed Bids for “ HEINEMAN ST. POTABLE WATER GROUND STORAGE TANK AND LIFT STATION - ITB 22413”, until 2:00 p.m. 11:00 A.M., on May 31 June 22 June 29, 2022, at which time Bids will be opened publicly. Click here to join the meeting. Bids received after said time will not be accepted by the Bid Platform. NO PAPER BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. THE WORK generally consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the facilities consisting of, but not limited to, the following: 1. Two (2) 1,375 gpm and two (2) 2,750 gpm horizontal split case pumps with piping, valves, electrical service, instrumentation and controls, and miscellaneous appurtenances. 2. One (1) sodium hypochlorite chemical storage tank, one (1) duplex metering pump skid, associated chemical piping (containment and

tubing), chemical pull boxes, injection ports, electrical and I&C, and miscellaneous appurtenances. 3. One (1) 5.0 million gallon pre-stressed concrete ground storage tank, inlet and outlet flow meter stations, and miscellaneous appurtenances. 4. High service pump masonry building, including a chemical room, pump room, and electrical room. 5. Electrical and instrumentation equipment, emergency standby power, fiber optic cable, and site security. 6. Miscellaneous site improvements, stormwater, driveway access, site fencing, and connection to the existing 16-inch water main on Heineman Street. A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 700 Heineman Street, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 and via TEAMS on May 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will be required to furnish separate 100% Performance and Payment Bonds unless the Contract price is less than $100,000. THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT to reject any and all Bids, or any portion of any Bid, or to waive any informalities in the Bidding.
