The Government requires a four hundred gigabyte (400GB) dark fiber path between the sites in order to permit the Department to perform its National and Primary Mission Essential Functions. This will enable the Department to continue to save lives during National Emergencies as well as continue normal operations where facilities are unavailable. Please see the attachment for further
