Disposal services include assistance in identifying, collecting, processing, handling, stabilizing, neutralizing, packaging, labeling, transporting, storing, and consolidating, and/or separating nonhazardous and hazardous waste in preparation for disposal.  Work will be performed at Naval Air

Station Jacksonville, FL. The proposed contract type is a firm-fixed price purchase order.  It will be competitively procured using the policies and procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation  (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.The primary NAICS Code for this procurement is 562112 and the annual small business size standard is $41.5M dollars.The contract term is anticipated to be a base period of one year plus four one-year option periods, for a total contract performance period not to exceed five years (60 months).  The base period recurring work requirement will be the overall minimum guarantee.This is a new procurement.  It does not replace an existing contract.  No prior contract information exists.The proposed solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns.A sources sought notice for this procurement was posted on 24 January 2022 on the SAM.gov website.  As a result of the market research, a determination was made to set aside this procurement as a 100% small business set-aside.  The NAVFAC Southeast Small Business Office concurs with the set-aside determination. The solicitation utilizes evaluation procedures which require offerors to submit price and non-price information. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation, offers the lowest price, and is the most advantageous to the Government.Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation on www.SAM.gov  website when it becomes available. The anticipated date of RFQ issuance is on or after 28 February 2022.
