Question and Answer - 12/1/2022Q:Do you have the current part number for reference?A:The current product being used by APHIS PPQ MFFRF is a custom product made by the previous contractor, Archer Advanced Rubber Components.Previous Purchase Order # 12639519P0083Q: What is the purpose of the cotton insert/main use of the product?A: The main use for the product is for the Mexican Fruit Fly colony cages. The flies use the material to lay their eggs. Please see the statement of work (SOW) in the solicitation for further details.Q:Is the cotton insert mandatory?A: YesQ: Do you have a sample copy of what you are currently using?A:Yes, images of the current product are included in the attachments tab below. Please email samantha.johnson3@usda.gov if you have further questions about the material.Q: Is the nitrile thickness negotiable?A: The thickness can range from 0.45-0.50mm. The product cannot be too thick as the flies need to deposit their eggs through the material.Amendment 0001 - 12/1/2022You will find amendment 0001, containing corrections to the SOW included below.
