RFP for General Contractor Services for the Southern Depot Rehabilitation Project

City of Del Rio PUBLIC NOTICE R:2023-123 RFP for General Contractor Services for the Southern Depot Rehabilitation Project Due May 6, 2024 The City of Del Rio is seeking to obtain sealed proposals from a qualified General Contractor for Services to be completed the Southern Depot Rehabilitation Project, located at 100 West Ogden Street in Del Rio, Texas. The work will include the Installation of twenty (20) windows/ seven (7) door units which shall be in in strict accordance with the installation shop drawings prepared by the Pella window company. All work will be inspected by historic preservation Architect, Able City, LLP., located at 901 Victoria Street, Suite A, Laredo, Texas, 78040. This project is working with funding through the Texas Department of Transportation. As such, the City of Del Rio is following TxDOT Form PTN-124OC for this project. Other TxDOT forms attached to this Request for Proposals must be followed. (Refer to PTN-130 attached to this document). Please note

that there is a DBE goal for this project as stipulated by TxDOT. The stated goal for the City of Del Rio is 1.0 percent. Sealed Proposals can be mailed, or hand delivered. All proposals received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. A Pre-Submittal Conference (not mandatory but recommended) for Contractors shall be held on April 24, 2024 at 2:30 PM CST at the Transportation Depot located at 100 West Ogden, Del Rio, Texas. The deadline for proposal questions shall be on May 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM and should be sent via email to purchasing@cityofdelrio.com. This solicitation does not commit the City of Del Rio to award a contract, to pay any costs associated with the submission or preparation of any proposal submitted, or the procurement of the items or services listed. The City of Del Rio reserves the right to consider any other factors that it deems to be relevant to its needs. The City reserves the right to request additional information from an individual or to request all submitters to submit supplemental materials in fulfillment of the content requirements of this request for proposals (RFP) or to meet additional information needs of the City.
