A
site visit is scheduled for March 28th at 10AM at the Bird Library at 1105 N. Stonewall. Contractors can park at the student union across the street at 1106 N. Stonewall using the parking meters in front of the building. Attendance is highly encouraged Job Installation Specs This job will consist of the purchase and installation of new lighting fixtures as well as a new lighting control system capable of 0-10 dimming. This will entail 29- 10” LED wall wash can light and goof rings for perimeter lighting.60- LED can light inserts for seating area. 10- LED can light inserts for front speaking area. 4- 4’ LED strip lights for a dry erase board. 2- LED can light inserts for stair landing area. Replacement of 11- existing theatrical light fixtures with new yolk mount cylinder LED spotlights. All can light basis of design is Prescolite LFR series 4000k 0-10 dimmable. Spotlight basis of design is Acclaim LED Zoomspot All wiring must be plenum rated unless installed in conduit or raceway. The lecture hall lighting controls are to consist of 7 zones; 3 overhead spotlights, perimeter lighting, student seating, front can-lights, and the dry erase board. Contractor shall field verify all fixture counts and sizes, Sizes shall be replaced like for like. Lighting control switches are to be located at both the east and west entrances of the lecture hall and are to include zone dimming. Removal and replacement of existing lighting control panel with new Lutron Athena lighting controls (basis of design) to match existing lighting systems in the building. Start up and commissioning of lighting controls shall be included in the cost of the project. And all fixtures must be working and adjusted as necessary for lecture hall use upon completion. Library/lecture hall management will be advising of setup of certain fixtures. Lighting controls must have the ability to be integrated into an existing Crestron A/V controller. Lighting controls must have the ability to bring lighting levels to 100% brightness for a minimum of 60 minutes upon power restoration in the event of power loss. Projected start date will depend on the ship dates of ordered material that is build to order, as well as scheduling with the library to avoid interruptions in their schedule. We will have flexibility with the start date and decide that once all materials have arrived in OKC. All clean up and removal/disposal of old equipment shall be done in a professional manner. Contractors are to wear high-visibility shirts with a company logo throughout the project. Description All work must meet all local and state electrical codes. Upon project completion, contractor will provide OUHSC with as-builts detailing the location of equipment and any relays not installed in equipment panels and any other significant changes to the system. As well as an owner training for up to four campus electricians to go over the operations of the system. Any deviation from basis of design will be considered and must be approved by OUHSC Facilities Management. Please provide submittal data for review. Deviations without submittal data will not be considered. All bids must have project timelines attached with bid to include lead times of materials as well as construction timelines to complete the project so that down time of lecture hall can be scheduled and expectations for the library can be managed.
