The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey.Per Section 01010 of the Project Specifications, titled, “Summary of Work”, the work includes, but is not limited
to the following:1.1.1 Installation of the runway 27 MALSContractor shall install the MALS as indicated on the construction drawings. Work includes: Installation of an equipment building (and providing power to building), Power Racks, Duct banks (including boring), Manholes, Cabling, and the installation of Lighting fixtures/connectors/equipment. Work will require construction during night time hours, working in between air traffic and airport operations, and working in highly restrictive areas.1.1.2 Removal/Demolition of existing facilities, equipment, and infrastructureFacilities, equipment, and infrastructure that are indicated to be removed, shall be completely removed and disposed of by the construction contractor. Work includes the removal of existing light fixtures, transformers, components, cabling, pull boxes, and above ground distribution rack structures and foundations. Areas effected by equipment removal shall be restored to match the surrounding grade, compaction, and condition. All work shall be to the satisfaction of the FAA and the Airport. The contractor shall provide documentation to the FAA Project Engineer certifying that all material has been disposed of properly.The estimated price range of the procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000Solicitation Package expected to be posted/distributed no later than May 31, 2017.Contractors interested in proposing this project, desiring an interpretation or clarification of the specifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make the request by e-mail to Elsa Gonzalez at elsa.gonzalez@faa.gov by 5:00 PM Local Time on Friday, May 26, 2017.
