Introduction/Description:The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey.The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. to the following:1.1.1 Installation of the runway 27 MALSContractor shall install the MALS as indicated on the construction drawings. Work includes: Installation of an equipment building (and providing power to building), Power Racks, Duct banks (including boring), Manholes, Cabling, and the installation of Lighting fixtures/connectors/equipment. Work will require construction during night time hours, working in between air traffic and airport operations, and working in highly restrictive areas.1.1.2 Removal/Demolition of existing facilities, equipment, and infrastructureFacilities, equipment, and infrastructure that are indicated to be removed, shall be completely removed and disposed of by the construction contractor. Work includes the removal of existing light fixtures, transformers, components, cabling, pull boxes, and above ground distribution rack structures and foundations. Areas effected by equipment removal shall be restored to match the surrounding grade, compaction, and condition. All work shall be to the satisfaction of the FAA and the Airport.
