CAL FIRE Aircraft Support Services

It is the intent of the State of California, The Natural Resources Agency, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, herein after referred to as CAL FIRE, to award a service contract for the operation and maintenance of CAL FIRE¿s fleet of aircraft. The contractor will provide necessary personnel to operate and maintain CAL FIRE¿s aircraft. CAL FIRE Officers will monitor the contractor¿s performance to ensure contract compliance, safety and security of CAL FIRE assets, provide general direction, and set priorities for program operation. CAL FIRE reserves the right to operate CAL FIRE owned aircraft at CAL FIRE's discretion and contractor may not charge for any flight operations performed by CAL FIRE flight
