On-Call and Scheduled Landscaping Services

Invitation for Bids No. 24-192; On-Call and Scheduled Landscaping Services Requesting Department: Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management – Parks Department Bids will be received until 2:00 PM EST: April 2, 2024 by: The Office of Procurement Neil Walker, Deputy Procurement Officer 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield, MA 01103 Phone (413) 787-6285 FAX 787-6295 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. Bid documents and specifications will be available at no charge beginning March 18, 2024, at the Office of Procurement from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com. Please refer to the bid number and opening date when requesting. The services included in this bid will fall under M.G.L. Ch. 30B, 30 39M, and other applicable procurement statutes. The Department of Parks, Buildings and Recreation Management requires a

price agreement contract with a qualified vendor to establish prices to supply services to maintain municipal and school property sites in Springfield. The contractor will supply labor and equipment to perform landscaping services at various City School and Municipal locations. The initial term of the Contract shall be for One (1) year, with Two (2) one-year in length renewal options, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion. The contract is estimated at $2,000,000.00 annually. The City intends to award a single contract to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) by March 25, 2024 at 4:30 P.M. The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
