Olympus Borescope Repair

The Air Force Test Center Operational Contracting Squadron (AFTC/PZIOA) Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a sole source contract to Olympus American Inc., 48 Woerd Ave Ste 105, Waltham, MA, 02453-3824, Cage: 1KY21, to provide the following service: Olympus Borescope Repair. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order.The statutory authority which permits sole source for this acquisition is 41 United States Code (USC) 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This authority is supported by an approved Justification & Approval. It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. The applicable NAICS code is 811310. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is $7.5 million. This requirement consists of:CLIN 0001: Repair Olympus Borescope P/N: 1V8635AL-1 requires the installation of a new insertion tube assembly and universal cable. Angulation mechanism requires repair. 120DN, 120DF, and 120 tip

adapters require replacement.THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 1200 pm CST on 23 February 2018 will be considered by the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these items.
