Selective Demolition: Anticipated Selective Demolition includes removing the existing acoustic ceiling tiles, suspended metal grid & fasteners, and any existing recessed light fixtures, wiring & suspended hangers where noted on SD-1.0; Removing portions of existing drywall partitions as required to install a new door & frame or window, relocate an existing door & frame, or remove an existing door & frame; Remove existing base and /or wall casework as noted; New Construction: New 5/8" gypsum drywall each side of 3 5/8" mtl. stud framing where noted on A-1.0; New plastic laminate on solid wood core doors & metal door frames where indicated; Provide & install new base & wall cabinets and install new countertops where noted and shown on the interior elevations; Provide new rubber base to match existing @ new partitions; Modifications to existing acoustic ceiling & grid as required; Installation of 2 new sinks; Modify existing fire sprinkler system to provide coverage for new Main Lobby Storage Rooms; Alternate #1 Remove existing concrete fence columns & aluminum fencing @ southeast exterior courtyard; Remove existing rubber composite exterior flooring @ southeast exterior courtyard and any sub-base or concrete slab; Install new landscaping (see landscape & irrigation plans), pavers, irrigation & furniture (to include new “tiki” structures), and the new site obstructing perimeter fencing. Alternate #2 Remove existing door & frame from Reception area into Workroom/Breakroom; Remove existing Reception desk; Remove portions of the existing Lobby acoustic ceiling & grid around the proposed drywall dropped soffit; Remove existing sink from Workroom/Breakroom; Install new Workroom/Breakroom and Lobby casework & dropped gypsum drywall soffit as detailed.Show
