The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has made a preliminary decision to approve United States Air Force application for Air Quality Control Minor Permit AQ1661MSS01 for the Nanushuk Operations Pad.   Applicant: Oil Search (Alaska), LLC, P.O. Box 240927, Anchorage, AK 99524 Location: Northing: 7,799.92 km; Easting: 594.8 km; UTM Zone: 5 Activity: Oil Search (Alaska), LLC applied for a minor permit under 18 AAC 50.502(c)(1) for a new stationary source for NOx and under 18 AAC 50.508(5) to establish Owner Reqeusted Limits to avoid minor permitting under 18 AAC 50.502(c)(1) for PM-2.5 and to avoid PSD review under 18 AAC 50.306 for NOx, CO, and VOC. Emissions: Emissions for the stationary source will be 248.2 tpy NOx, 233.5 tpy CO, 184.4 tpy VOC, 8.8 tpy PM-2.5/PM-10, 1.5 tpy SO­ 2 . ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for this project under AS 46.14 and 18 AAC 50. Available Information: Copies of

ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period ADEC complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
