WITHIN THE FOLLOWING COMPLIANCE:A. DESCRIPTION: JOHN DEERE 5105M (DIESEL, 105 HORSEPOWER) TRACTOR WITH JOHN DEERE 540M LOADER, FRONTIER AP13G FLOATING PALLET FORK AND FRONTIER AB12G THREE TINE BALE SPEAR.CAPABILITIES: Capabilities of the requirements for this purchase are as follows:1) John Deere 5105M Utility tractor is a 4WD utility tractor with four-cylinder diesel engine. Has power steering, hydraulic brakes, and rollover protection. Capabilities also include:- Power Reverser 16F/16R 40 km/hr- 3 mechanical stackable rear SCV- 3-speed PTO - 540/540E/1000- electronic hitch control with remote control on LH fender- telescoping draft links with ball end - category 2- electronic hitch control with remote control on LH fender- mechanical center link with ball

ends - category 22) John Deere 540M Loader has a single-point hydraulic connection; concealed oil lines to reduce damage, a boom lockout, and a loader suspension system.3) Frontier AP13G Floating Pallet Fork has a high tensile, heave-gauge steel frame to pick up and remove pallets on uneven terrain (such that may involve the above mentioned 4WD tractor)4) Frontier AB12G - three tine bale spear has forged steel for moving round or square bales of up to 2,500 lbs and has a quick-change for hook-up to the above mentioned loaderB. The end user is the US Army Garrison-Redstone, Directorate of Public Works, Environmental Management Division, Natural Resource staff.C. Staff will use the tractor to bushhog early successional habitat, apply herbicides, apply fertilizer, mow hay fields, bale hay, and move hay. The loader, pallet fork, and bale spear are implements that will aid in this use. All use is in support of the US Army Garrison-Redstone forestry and wildlife habitat management. All equipment is replacing existing items that have reached the end of their life cycle.
