Description
Scope of Services
Provide qualified staff to augment CPE staff. Consultant will assist with:
• Delivering capital projects with CPE
• Solicitation for and facilitate contracting with design firms to develop construction plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates for assigned projects.
• Reviewing, commenting and approving construction plans and specifications developed by design firms.
• Soliciting construction management firms to support project construction.
• Issuing requests for bids, manage the bid process.
• Providing project management through the completion of the project.
• Being available for phone calls or meetings to confer with design firms, construction management firms, contractors, and City staff; and
• Other tasks as may be assigned by the City in writing, in advance.
The City understands that one firm might not have the expertise or staffing to perform all of these functions. The City may award single or multiple agreements from this solicitation.
