This procurement may be subject to Chapter 5 of the Canada Free Trade Agreement (“CFTA”) and Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (“CETA”). The LCBO expects all suppliers to adhere to the LCBO’s Supplier Code of Business Conduct, which is available on the LCBO’s website under “Doing Business with the LCBO”. The Supplier Code sets out principles applicable to all suppliers (including both suppliers of beverage alcohol products and suppliers of non-alcohol goods or services) that wish to establish and maintain a business relationship with the LCBO. Brief Description of the Procurement: This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (the “LCBO”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of real estate broker services (the “Services”), as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”) The intent of this RFP is to select one (1) qualified proponent, a licensed real estate brokerage firm in good standing with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (“RECO”) with a minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience, to provide the entire scope of work as outlined in this RFP. Term of Contract The term of the agreement is to be for a period of two (2) years, commencing on a date to be determined by the LCBO, with an option to extend the Agreement at the sole discretion of the LCBO, on the same terms and conditions, for an additional term of up to five (5) separate one (1) year optional terms.
