NSWC PCD THE LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE WORKSHOP -- SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE-- Scope: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) requires facilitation services to provide The Leadership Challenge® corporate workshop, which is designed to offer a practical and hands-on experience that includes development tools, group activities, and individual exercises designed to inspire, engage, and help leaders develop the skills needed to achieve their personal best. The workshop will leverage the Leadership Practices Inventory Plus (LPI +) Online Assessment. Used to measure The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®, the acclaimed leadership development model created by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner, the LPI® 360 is an observer-based assessment that enables leaders to assess their leadership competencies and act on their discoveries. The plus part of the LPI means there is an initial assessment and follow-up reassessment designed to track a leaders’ progress in using the Five
Practices of Exemplary Leadership. The reassessment is a key element to The Challenge Continues program. The LPI + Assessment and detailed report will help leaders take a giant step toward achieving the extraordinary and reaching their personal leadership best. Requirements: See attached SOW and Brand Name Justification. The 2-Day Workshop will be held in Panama City, Florida during the weeks of 16-20 October 2023. Both days will be offered on-site at NSWC PCD. During the workshop, the contractor shall offer a practical and hands-on experience that includes development tools, group activities, and individual exercises designed to inspire, engage, and help leaders develop the skills needed to achieve their personal best. 3.1 The core curriculum shall be structured around seven components, including five independent modules that focus specifically on each of The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® and the values below: • Leadership is a relationship. • The best leaders are the best learners. • It takes practice - deliberate practice — to become a better leader. • Leadership is an aspiration and a choice. • Leaders make a difference. • Leadership development is self-development. • Leadership is everyone’s business. 3.2 The contractor shall provide a Certified Master Leadership Challenge Facilitator (CM) on-site to facilitate the workshop. 3.3 The contractor shall be a Global Training Partner of The Leadership Challenge®. 3.4 The contractor shall be capable of facilitating other courses offered in The Leadership Challenge suite, including: o Leadership Challenge Self-Empowered Workshop / Assessment Two-Day Leadership Challenge Workshop Two-Day Leadership Challenge Facilitator Training Workshop LPI Coach Training Program The Challenge Continues Workshop 3.5 The contractor shall provide post-session certificates to each participant. 3.6 The contractor shall utilize the LPI 360 and LPI+ Assessment tools within the curriculum. 3.7 The contractor shall include the following materials: • LPI + Assessment • Leadership Challenge, 7e • Leadership Challenge Workshop Participant Workbook • Leadership Challenge Values Cards • LPI Action Cards • LPI Commitment Card • 30 Behavior Cards 3.8 The Government will provide access to an on-site meeting support to include the following: • LCD projector and screen • 6’ material table near front of room • Lavalier microphone • Cordless microphone PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance shall be between 16-20 October. -------------------------------------------- Email quotes to alan.t.bounds.civ@us.navy.mil on or before the closing date and time stated above.
