ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS New Madrid County Port Authority 2024 Capital Improvements Compacted Fill & Rip-Rap New Madrid, Missouri Sealed bids for the 2024 Capital Improvements for compacted fill, rip-rap and appurtenances will be received at the office of the New Madrid County Port Authority at 435 Main Street, New Madrid, Missouri, until 11:00 a.m. CST on Wednesday of May 1, 2024, and then at said office be publicly opened and read aloud. The improvements will consist of land moving including compacted fill, rip-rap placement and appurtenances. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds, and other contract documents may be examined at the office of the Engineer, Lambert Engineering & Surveying, 125 North New Madrid Street, Sikeston, Missouri, and may there be obtained upon payment of a non- refundable fee of $50.00. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. There will be one contract awarded for the project. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Notice to Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.C. 11246 and the Missouri Division of Labor Standards.
