Southeast 3rd Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement202212-10037Closing Date: 02/02/2023 02:00:00 PM PTDetail: ADVERTISEMENT CITY OF HILLSBORO Invitation to Bid (ITB) – Public Improvement Southeast 3rd Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement ITB No. 202212-10037 Bids due and Bid Closing Date and Time: February 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM PST First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure due: Not later than February 2, 2023 at 4:00 PM PST The City of Hillsboro seeks competitive sealed bids from qualified and experienced firms able to provide construction services including, but not limited to auger boring (including design of bore pit shoring), earthwork and drainage, asphalt concrete paving and pavement markings, miscellaneous highway appurtenances (including sidewalk repair), temporary traffic control, and landscaping. The project will replace a section of sanitary sewer that is approximately 500 feet long, located between the two manholes, numbers 19848 and 19847, near 640 Southeast 3rd Avenue, Hillsboro,

Oregon. Auger boring will be used to install the proposed 21-inch diameter sewer pipe. Two new manhole structures will be installed to establish the new sewer connections. A temporary sewer bypass system will be required for the sewer pipe replacement. A sanitary lateral line will be rebuilt. The disturbed areas, including road and sidewalks, will be repaired as needed. Work will be conducted within a vegetated corridor and impacts to the vegetated corridor shall be minimized to the greatest extent practicable. There is no pre-qualification process for this ITB. ☒ There will be no pre-bid conference. Sealed bids will be received by City Contact: Charlie Shell, Project Manager. Electronic bid submission is required. Late bids will be rejected as non-responsive. First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure: A Bidder may submit First-Tier Subcontractor disclosure with their bid or may submit it to the City Contact by email. If submitting by email, Bidder is responsible for assuring the email is received timely by the City.
