Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO)-Student Transportation Services Project Description :This RFSQ is issued by Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario ("STEO") on an urgent expedited basis for the 2023/2024 school year for routes to be awarded on a first-come-first-assigned basis to eligible service providers based on the performance terms set out in Appendix B (Master Framework Agreement) for the pre-established rates set out in Appendix F – 2023-2024 School Year Rate Schedule. STEO may assign some or all of the routes offered by respondents based on its internal assessment of its operational needs within the context of routes that have already been assigned and routes that still require service. Prospective respondents should note that no contracts are currently in place for the required services for the routes indicated in this solicitation and that this solicitation is open to all eligible service providers, including prior service providers and new service providers. Respondents should also note that there is no cap on the number of route bundles that any one (1) respondent may be assigned for the upcoming school year. Once operational needs are addressed for the upcoming school year, STEO will then formalize a longer-term framework arrangement for future years, wherein those respondents who were assigned routes for the upcoming school year will be eligible to bid on opportunities for longer-term assignments that will also be available to other service providers for those routes that are not already assigned to longer term arrangements.
