Description
Scope of Services The City of Toledo, Division of Environmental Services is soliciting quotes for the provision of one (1) self-contained instrument capable of continuously monitoring ambient air for ozone. One instrument is requested. An ozone monitor is used to provide citizens with an assessment of the daily air quality and to determine compliance with the National Ambient Air Quality Standard.
Other Details BID SUBMISSION Bids for this project can be accepted via e-bid though the City of Toledo’s PlanetBids portal. Bids prices shall be to two (2) decimal places (i.e. $0.00)). Only one (1) price per line item will be accepted with this bid. In order to be responsive, all bids must have the following with submittal: • Project Paperwork* • Line Items – will auto-populate with e-bid • Bid Guaranty (bid bond or certified check / cashier’s check on a solvent bank) • Signed Contract by the Vendor* • Child Support Affidavit* • Bureau of Worker’s Compensation Certificate • Insurance Certificate, naming the City of Toledo as an additional insured / Certificate Holder • Provide cost breakdown of instrument and included components • Provide brochure of instrument • List which items in the “Scope and Specifications” section do not meet or exceed the specifications. Any exception to the bid specification must be explained by the vendor in writing. The explanation shall include the extent of the deviation and the reason for it. *Located on “Documents” tab in PlanetBids If using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be scanned and uploaded with your bid. In addition, the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. No Company / No Personal checks will be accepted. Checks shall be made payable to “City of Toledo.” If your company does not provide a bid guaranty, your bid submittal will be deemed non-responsive.
