The Government of the District of Columbia, Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) intends to award a sole source contract to Automated Traffic Solutions, Inc. to avoid disruption of essential services and to continue to provide automated traffic enforcement safety system services for the MPD. The current vendor, American Traffic Solutions, Inc. D/B/A Verra Mobility is the only vendor who can provide the services under this contract since it involves their proprietary equipment and software. To avoid a disruption of these essential services, the District has determined it is in the best interest to enter into a Sole Source Contract with American Traffic Solutions, Inc. to support the existing photo enforcement equipment as defined under the original contractual agreement. All mandatory terms and conditions shall be enforced and remain the same. The period of performance is expected to be from September 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.
