Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide DSC Campus Custodial Services to the Dalton State College (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP. 1.0 Introduction 1.1 College History Dalton State College (DSC) currently uses a custodial supplier and in-house labor for our janitorial cleaning. This institution is part of the University System of Georgia. Dalton State College opened in 1967, The campus is considered the main campus and consists of 140 acres and 13 buildings totaling 457,603 square feet. The student population of DSC is approximately 5000. These campus employees approximately 169 full-time faculty and 175 full-time staff. target="_blank">http://www.daltonstate.edu/. 1.2 General Scope of Procurement The Supplier will manage contracted custodial service operations. The Supplier will follow APPA Level II standards by providing a sufficient number of employees based on cleanable space, frequency, and surface types, and by using appropriate cleaning equipment and resources to meet this specification. These required tasks will encompass routine, repetitive and specialized cleaning functions. The selected Supplier will complete all of the duties within this document for the life of the agreed-upon contract; at no time will any duties as outlined in this proposal be shared or subcontracted out by the Supplier. 1.3 Expected Level of Cleaning - For more information, visit: Attachment Custodial Appearance Levels APPA Level II Definition: Floors and base molding shine and/or are bright and clean.
