1. Intent. The Maneuver Support Capability Development Integration Directorate (MSCDID) will host Maneuver Support & Protection Integration eXperiments 2025 ((MSPIX 25).MSPIX 25 will examine capabilities and concepts designed to address modernization needsfor Maneuver Support and Protection. MSPIX provides a centralized experimentation andanalysis process for technologies that may provide desired capabilities, verifies criticaloperational data, and makes recommendations for further development and additionalimprovements based on the analysis. MSPIX 25 will inform future capability requirements insupport of Multi-Domain Operations that will directly align with the Army ModernizationPriorities.2. Timeline. Submissions are due in accordance with Enclosure 2; MSPIX 25 Submitter’sGuide, at Paragraph A. All dates are projected and may shift.3. Experiment Objectives. The MSPIX25 Experiment Objective follows. See Enclosures1 & 3 for more information regarding desired capabilities.Objective:
Assess potential material opportunities to better enable Maneuver Support& Protection contributions to Multi Domain Operations (MDO). Specifically:A. Capability that provides the Maneuver Commander with predictive and real-timeprotection related information.B. Capability to cross wet gaps.C. Camouflage & Obscuration.D. Capability to conduct Toxic Industrial Material (TIM) Site Assessment.4. Technology Selection Process.A. All proposals must be submitted electronically tousarmy.leonardwood.mscoe.mbx.MSPIX@army.mil NLT 30 April 2024. SeeEncl 2-5 for detailed instructions on how to submit a proposal forconsideration.B. Selected technologies will be reviewed by proponent numerous organizationsfor sponsorship. Sponsors are responsible for: 1) Identifying linkage tomodernization priorities, 2) Identifying learning demands associated with eachtechnology, 3) Assisting with the development of employment vignettes andidentifying skill sets (MOS, ASI/SQI, etc...) and number of Soldiers requiredfor each technology, 4) Participation in MSPIX planning meetings, and 5)identification of how the results will be leveraged after the final report iscompleted.C. Candidate technology participation must be funded by the proposingorganization (aka Technology Providers). Technology providers will pay allcosts associated with including the capability in MSPIX. Typical expensesinclude development, transportation, training, and sustaining selectedtechnologies during the experiment period.D.
