Bid Status TextThe City of Tampa (“City”) is accepting responses from qualified companies or individuals for the right to provide small, non-alcohol, event catering for the Multi-Purpose Room (30 person maximum) and/or Boardroom (16 person maximum) in the Tampa River Center at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. The intent of this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) and resulting contracts is to procure and establish a list of approved caterers/catering firms (“Caterer(s)”) for small, non-alcohol, meeting or gathering in the Multi-Purpose Room (30 person maximum) and/or Boardroom (16 person maximum) at the Tampa River Center at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. Caterers responding to this RFQ must have extensive experience, a

knowledgeable background and qualifications in providing catering. The City seeks to qualify one or more exclusive Caterers for this business opportunity to provide the services detailed herein. Through this RFQ, the City is looking to have available qualified Caterers for interested parties/groups wanting to choose from for use at various events hosted and/or permitted Multi-Purpose Room and/or Boardroom at the Tampa River Center. Although it is the City’s intent to utilize approved Caterers from this RFQ award, the City may occasionally utilize a caterer for this location who is not part of this RFQ award. That would only occur under exceptional circumstances and through approval of the Parks & Recreation Department Director or his/her designee. Any outside caterer(s) would still need to meet all the requirements outlined in the RFQ. In addition to the Multi-Purpose Room and/or Boardroom in the Tampa River Center at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, caterers would also be on a Parks and Recreation Preferred Caterer List given to clients who rent Seminole Garden Center.
