The Bridgeton Board of Education is requesting proposals from companies that can provide a project management team to lead the district through the reconfiguration process. Bridgeton Public schools is a pre-k through 12 district located in the western side of Cumberland County. We currently operate: 1 – Preschool, 5 – k-8 elementary schools, 1- Pk-8 elementary schools, and 1- 9-12 high school. It is the desire of the board to reconfigure the district to grade level schools in order to improve operational effectiveness, efficiency and help streamline operations throughout the district. B. SCOPE OF SERVICEThe services provided by the project management team shall include but shall not be limited to the following: Acts as the project lead that gives direction to the district reconfiguration committee and all sub-committees. The successful management team will work collaboratively with the district architect to evaluate space, enrollments, and programs at each grade level school.Assist in developing school boundary lines based on building capacity and student population numbers.Assist in developing operational hours that maintain the district’s current transportation efficiency rating.Development of the implementation plan, along with timelines.Successful communication with all parties to ensure the implementation plan is complete. Conduct meetings with various stakeholders (including but not limited to Reconfiguration team members, District staff members, Board members, and community members) and support the appropriate branding of the grade level schools.Assessment of Classroom needs.Support the District through the critical planning stage.Full implementation date estimated at September 2025.
