Automated Retail and Vending Concession Services

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining sealed proposals (Proposal) from interested and qualified entities (Respondents) to provide Automated Retail and Vending Concession Services (Automated Services) at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO or Airport) and Reno-Stead Airport (RTS). Existing vendor contracts are set to expire and the RTAA has identified locations and demand for expanded automated offerings. In addition, the RTAA is transforming the travel experience at RNO with a multi-year infrastructure program, the MoreRNO program (MoreRNO), during which the Automated Retail and Vending Concession Program (Automated Concession Program) will play a vital role in ensuring passenger amenities are available throughout construction. concepts within the following package categories: Package 1 - Automated Specialty Retail Package 2 - Snack and Beverage Sets Package 3 - Fresh Branded Foods/Meals or Automated Cuisine Available packages are further described in Attachment B, Packages and Proposed Bid. All interested Respondents may bid on any or all bid packages but must present an individual proposal for each package. As is more fully explained in Section 15, Evaluation and Award Process, an award or awards, if made, will be made to the best overall Respondents whose Proposals are most advantageous to the RTAA, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this RFP. The agreement term to be awarded under this RFP is a three (3) year term beginning October 1, 2023, as a Non-exclusive Automated Vending Concession License (License or Agreement). Further, at the sole discretion of the RTAA, an additional two (2) two-year terms may extend the License. The RTAA reserves the right to not award a License for any work herein or to award more than one proposer per package; issuance of this RFP solicitation does not guarantee any subsequent award. Proposal responses shall be submitted no later than the date and time stated in Section 8, Schedule. Respondents are required to submit solely via the Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) website. Do not submit any RFP documentation to 2770 Vassar Street. Respondents must directly upload documentation per the requirements noted in this solicitation, or the web-based system will not allow the Respondent to finalize and submit their Proposal(s). A mandatory pre-Proposal meeting and site tour will be held on June 15, 2023, commencing promptly at 1:30 PM (PST) and will be held at the RTAA Administrative offices located at 2001 E.
