Santa Barbara Foundation invites applications for William and Lottie Daniel Fund Child Care Scholarships

The mission of the Santa Barbara Foundationis to mobilize collective wisdom and philanthropic capital to build empathetic, inclusive, and resilient communities.The foundation invites applications for the William and Lottie Daniel Fund Child Care Scholarships program, which will award grants of up to $50,000 to nonprofit organizations that provide quality child care for working families. Funding may subsidize childcare program fees/costs for current Santa Barbara County residents.Applicants must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and provides programs and services in Santa Barbara County to be eligible. The foundation accepts applications from public entities such as schools, universities, and libraries through an affiliate or supporting 501(c)(3) organization. Applicants must be fully licensed by the State of California to provide child care for the age groups it is serving and be in full compliance with the applicable codes governing childcare facilities.
