RFP - Engineering Design Services - Highway Avenue Bridge Connection Description ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES: HIGHWAY AVENUE BRIDGE CONNECTION The City of Covington, Kentucky, is Requesting Proposals from KYTC Prequalified Professional Engineering Design firms for the purpose of providing Pedestrian and Bicycle Facility Design Services for the Highway Avenue Bridge Connection Project. The Highway Avenue Bridge Connection Project is a piece of the Riverfront Commons project, a multi modal path that connects the Rivercities with one continuous pathway. This section of the pathway is from the western end of Phase I of Riverfront Commons (near the west side of the Brent Spence Bridge) to the Sidewalks along Highway Avenue (KY 8). This project also includes lighting for safety along the pathway.
