Summary:The Maryland Department of Health (MDH or the Department), Prevention and Health Promotion Administration, Bureau of Maternal and Child Health, Office of Family and Community Health Services, is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications to conduct a Needs Assessment to promote strategic program development for the Maryland Family Planning Program (MFPP) and its service delivery efforts throughout Maryland. The MFPP and its 22 Subrecipients (twenty-two) with 62 (sixty-two) health care service sites are supported through State and Federal funding (Title X funding by the Office of Population Affairs), to promote the provision of comprehensive quality family planning and related preventive health services. The program design provides contraceptive supplies and information to those in need, with priority given to persons from low-income families.
