The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of the Riverside County Probation Department is seeking proposals from entities interested in providing emergency and transitional housing services and corresponding facility management services as part of the County of Riverside's Public Safety Realignment Emergency and Transitional Housing Programs. These programs will be administered by the Riverside County Department of Mental Health. The purpose of this RFP is to obtain qualified providers who operate a stable, safe, alcohol and drug free sober living environment for eligible participants. Interested parties must submit a proposal to provide the services and/or programs stipulated within this RFP. Once bidders have been qualified through this RFP process and selected to be a Public Safety Realignment Emergency and/or Transitional Housing provider in Riverside County, additional Public Safety Realignment Emergency and Transitional housing locations may be approved by the
County without the provider submitting a subsequent proposal. In order to qualify for new locations to be added the housing provider must be in good standing with existing housing locations. New locations must be inspected and approved by the County prior to any clients being admitted to the facility and must adhere to the same requirements as stipulated in this RFP and the resulting contract at the same rate(s) listed in the bidder's proposal/agreement. The County will be accepting proposals for this procurement on an on-going basis until such time as they have determined that they have obtained a sufficient list of Public Safety Realignment Emergency and Transitional Housing providers, or the services are no longer needed. In order to release the RFP, the closing date of 6/30/15 has been listed in the Public Purchase system; however, if necessary, that date will be extended at a later date. Bidder may submit proposal to serve one or more geographical areas within Riverside County. The County of Riverside reserves the right to split this bid among multiple contractors in the manner that is most advantageous to the County.
