The Project is located in the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) campus, on the 15th floor of the Jim Pattison Pavilion. The proposed renovation space was occupied by a satellite pharmacy station. It is currently vacant. The space measures approximately 125 net square meters (1,345 net
square feet). The Project will demolish and dispose all the existing partitions, doors, and finishes in their entities. The new work will repurpose the vacated Satellite Pharmacy into a new LBMT (Leukemia Bone Marrow Transplant) Clinical Trial Unit with two new beds, two treatment chairs, a staff workstation and one shared barrier-free washroom. There are two blocked perimeter windows on the north exterior wall and the west wall. We will restore these to provide natural light into the LBMT Clinical Trial Unit. The construction will be undertaken during regular hospital hours as the remainder of the unit will continue to operate as normal. The project is anticipated to start in mid-April 2024, and the anticipated ready for takeover date is April 15, 2025. Eligible Bidders:Only invited Bidder may submit a Tender in response to this ITT.
