RECREATION SOFTWARE

The Town of Manchester is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide Recreation software to be used by several departments. The scope and functionality of the proposed solution is to include: membership, program registration, facility reservations, league scheduling, point of sale, reporting and other functionality included within the requirements section of this RFP. There is an expectation that the chosen solution will have an intuitive navigation for both the public and the employees.Interested and qualified vendors who have demonstrated their ability, at comparable work, are invited to submit proposals.The Town of Manchester is not obligated to accept any proposal or to negotiate with any proposal. All decisions are subject to the final approval of the Town of Manchester who reserves the right to reject any or all proposals without cause or liability. BackgroundThe Town of Manchester is a community of approximately 60,000 residents. We currently offer online

registration and walk-in registrations. We process about 5,400 membership passes per year along with approximately 878 activities. Manchester is home to 20 Little League fields, 21 soccer fields, 4 baseball fields, 4 football fields and 1 cricket field. In addition to the sport related fields, Manchester has 7 pools and 5 parks. All of these fields and facilities need to be managed using this software.We use our current software to manage the Recreation Department, Senior Center and Youth Service Bureau membership and activities. We use the point of sale module for our Customer Services department. Our Parks Department uses the software to manage field preparations and use. This software is an integral part of town operations and invites collaboration between departments.The Town of Manchester takes having fun very seriously.
