Director of Human ResourcesCity of Marshfield, WIThe City of Marshfield is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Human Resources in the Administration DepartmentPOSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the City’s Human Resources functions including employee relations, benefits administration, employee compensation, recruitment, leave management, performance management, policy development and interpretation, and regulatory compliance. This position reports to the City Administrator. In addition, this position performs and also assists with special projects and activities, under the direction of the City Administrator.POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, public administration, business administration, or related fieldExperience Required: A minimum of 5 years of related experience in a Human Resources leadership capacity. A combination of skills and experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience in public-sector human resources in preferred.Certifications/Licenses: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or CLRPPAY & BENEFITS: $43.50 (minimum) - $48.33 (mid-point).
