Glynn County Storm Sewer Pipe Jet / Vac Cleaning On-Call Services Contract

Summary The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County, Georgia (¿the Owner¿) seeks bids from interested and qualified sewer pipe maintenance and rehabilitation companies to provide contract services for a storm-sewer system cleaning and video inspections services in various locations throughout Glynn County. This is an on-call as needed request. Background Many of Glynn County¿s closed conveyance stormwater systems are clogged with silt, sand, and/or organic debris. The systems are in need of cleaning to ensure stormwater can flow through the systems to the designated outfall. The contractor is required to own and utilize a combination jet /vac truck to perform this work. System cleaning via jet/vac operations will be the primary focus of this on-call contract with CCTV video inspection being a secondary need. The majority of the needed work will take place on residential streets, however, work on collector or arterial streets is possible. The contractor will be responsible for all traffic control and/or flagging as necessary. Most of the work will be ¿non-emergency¿ and can be scheduled to accommodate the needs of Glynn County and the workload of the vendor, however, from time to time the County will need a rapid response, within 24 hours of notification.
