Due to an increased requirement for fire turnout clothing cleaning, inspections and repair services, the initial fiscal year contract amount requested has been exceeded and will require a reposting. The reposting is required due to the value of the requested amount exceeding the previously posted estimate in total for the fiscal year by 25% or $100,000 whichever is less per Section 2-201 of the Procurement Code. This contract for fire turnout clothing cleaning, inspections and repair services to Arizona PPE Recon is being reposted to increase the posting by $40,000.00 from $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 the new estimated fiscal year value. The associated posted amount, while greater than prior years and original posting, was anticipated by department contract administrators and included in the current fiscal year budget.
