**Once an ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR is released for bidding, bidders may begin working on their response and uploading required documents without submitting their bid early. The NGEM system allows for bidders to save their work. Please make use of this capability in order to give your company enough time to review your response and upload any other documents on the day the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes so that you do not miss the cut-off time.

**Once the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes and the responses are unsealed electronically, the list of bidders/responders will be immediately posted online and available to the public for viewing. This document can be accessed by clicking on Closed Bid Opportunities, selecting the specific opportunity, and scrolling down to Bid Documents. The Bid Tabulation document will be available for review there.

Description of Work:
This is a prevailing wage project. Construct North Campus Parking Lot Asphalt Repair, Phase 2. Existing asphalt will be completely removed in the phase 2 area and new geotextile fabic, compacted aggregate sub-base, and asphalt will be placed. Work will include new curbs, relocation of light poles, and relocation of a bus stop shelter.

Information Regarding Construction Schedule: Work for this project is scheduled to be start after UNR's Fall Commencement, May 18th, 2020 and be complete before UNR Fall Semester, August 21, 2020. High School commencements will take place during the construction period. Parking Services has been contacted about the project dates and will make provisions for the high school commencement parking.

Special Considerations: Successful Bidder shall have current Nevada Contractor's and Business Licenses
. Qualified electrician for light pole relocations.

This bid package is for Phase 2 of the Construction Documents in this Bid Package. Phase 1 was completed under a separate contract and the sheets are referenced here for information only. Bidder shall include in the bid package all costs associated with site access which may include barriers, fences and signage. Bidder shall include in this bid package any and all temporary access to maintain UNR and WM truck access to the Recycling yard at all times. Temporary access may include gravel, temporary ramps/trench plates, etc. The only times that access can be shut down to the recycling yard is with prior approval by UNR Construction Manager with a minimum of 2 weeks' notice. Work for this project can begin May 18, 2020. All work must be completed and all new parking spots striped and available by August 21, 2020.
